Initially, I avoided Vorderman's because I know dealers typically charge 30% more than any other mechanic. After a terrible experience with the only independent VW shop in town, I ran to Vorderman and was treated well. They handled my repairs promptly, offer helpful customer perks (e.g., courtesy shuttle home/back), and gave me a list of "additional suggested" maintenance that you might expect...but they were NICE about it. They weren't pushy at all, and gave me space to say, "Thanks, but not today," without any pressure. I know they are pricey, but they treated me fairly, and from what I can tell, they are the only honest VW mechanic in town....I guess I'll have to pay a premium for that in FW?
