Excellent experience!! Not pushy at all, very respectful and do everything and anything to get you the best deal. Very friendly! Recommended! :)
Had a very difficult (time sensitive) travel situation swiftly and effectively dealt with the fantastic service department at Vorderman. The customer service was exceptional, starting with Abbey and finishing with the crew that fixed my car. I feel very fortunate that my service issue happened in Fort Wayne, as I was treated very well and am confident that the repair was done properly and won't happen again. I would recommend Volderman VW to anyone who would like to feel like an appreciated customer.
My wife, two kids and I bought a Passat here on March 31. I bough several cars before at different dealerships, Vorderman is the BEST! I live in Bowling Green Ohio and drove about 4 hours to do this, and it was definitely worthed it. The locations is convenient, the facility is very nice, everyone is nice and proffesional, even the design and decoration of the show room is classic. I worked with Matt and Chad and they both were very knowledgable, helpful and polite. Especially Chad, the GM, he went above and beyond, taking extra miles to make me my family happy. It was not perfect, but nothing is perfect in the world. I had concerns, but Chad offered me multiple solutions, and eventually my family are happy which is most important. I strongly recommend them to everyone and will come back for my next one. Thanks a lot!
Had a major mechanical issue while traveling through IN. Was treated like a long time valued customer from the outset and throughout the service period despite the fact I will never be a return customer to there shop as I reside in MN. Was dealt with fairly even though I was in a vulnerable situation as we all are if we have auto troubles on the road during a summer vacation.I wish I lived in this area or could transplant Vorderman's to MN so I could use this dealership. Felt treated fairly and with honesty about the problem and possible solutions. Wish I could say the same about my local dealership in St Paul. Chad, the general manager and Ivan in service worked with me on solutions and showed flexibility that I have not experienced in other auto dealerships.John EadsMaplewood, MN
I was in contact with Vorderman for over 1 year in anticipation of getting delivery of a Volkwagen Golf R. They were amazing in keeping in touch. A very honest dealership. With the Golf R, many "other" VW dealerships were known to take deposits on cars they had no idea when or if they could obtain or to charge exorbitant fees. Jay, Denise, Lori all kept me up to speed. Jay placed me on a wait list and would not take any money down until a car was allocated.Buying process was very smooth; no shady add on's, options such as extended warranties explained but not pushed. I bypassed two closer dealerships to work with Vorderman and will gladly travel the extra distance for any future VW purchases!
Test drove then purchased a BMW 328xi with 63K miles. As with any used car purchase and especially German autos is the potential for expensive repairs. The key selling points for this BMW were:Low Miles2 month/2000 mile warrantyGold Check Certified (in-depth inspection) and accompanying printout showing the dealer repairs/maintenance performed prior to putting car up for saleThe printout showed Engine Service Light on at trade-in. Dealer stated there were 2 OBD codes replacing Fuel Filler Cap and Purge Valve. Now for the bad. While driving the car home the day of purchase the Engine Service Light comes on!I call Vorderman and get transferred to service. No one answers and call goes to voicemail. I leave a message with my name, number, and reason. 5 days later when I return from business trip out of country I check my phone and NO return call. I call again to Service. Call goes to voicemail again. Instead of leaving message I call back and speak to someone(i didn't note her name). I explain to her what has transpired to date. She pulls up service calendar and says they are wide open and I can bring car in to be looked at. When I arrive at Vorderman service shop they inform me they have NO openings in their schedule today. I am not getting a good feeling about the "Service" department.I make an appointment for the next week (as ill be out of town again). On way home I stop by Advance autoparts and have a look at the OBD code display. Only 1 code is displayed... SMALL EMISSIONS LEAK. This code sounds very similar to the trade-in code detected where they state they replaced the fuel cap and purge valve?Fast forward to shop visit # 2.Drop car at Service shop. I'm informed the OBD codes report 3 different malfunctions AND get this... NONE are covered under the 2 month / 2000 mile warranty!1. The electric thermostat is $460 installed.2.The camshaft sensor replacement $323 installed3.The DMTL pump is $410 installedOh and what happened to the Small Emission Leak code that Advanced Auto reader displayed??So I'm to believe this car just happened to throw 3 NEW OBD codes the drive home from dealer purchase!!!I expressed my dissatisfaction in emails with Matt in Service. He said he would speak with GM and get back with me in an email dated Sept 28th. As of October 5th I have not received any updates.Caveat Emptor. Latin for "let the buyer bewareMikeUpdate since my initial review post:Matt was very helpful resolving my issues with the OBD codes.A combination of my out of country business trips out and Matt's schedule delayed the earlier attempts to resolve. Once we got our schedules aligned, he was able to promptly install a new leak detector pump at no charge. As for the other 2 codes, I was offered a reduced repair cost which I was initially going to go with but decided to go with my own hands and DIY in my garage. Thanks again Matt, your assistance has gave me a better second impression of Vordermans
